Hey all. Long-time forum lurker, finally registering and getting on the boards. I'm JP and I love me some barbecue. Still pretty new at this and my previous job didn't allow much time for it, but I'm looking to get more active.

I run an MES40 with an AMPS. I'm in the market for a new grill (thinking of getting a Char-Griller 5050 Duo gas & charcoal rig).

Most of my smokes have been rainbow trout from various fishing trips. I have also done some salmon, smoked salts, and a couple racks of beef ribs.

I'll be doing my first brisket this Sunday, and after all the information I got from various posts, I felt it only right to report for duty and provide some Q-View!
