Hey your on your way. Looking good so far. I too am building a smoker out of an old 1940's fridge. Looks like your going propane to heat. What or where did that burner come from and do you know the BTU's it puts out? If you have any ideas of what to do or not to do, or any problems you ran into while building, let me know. Good job.
Well i got her finished all but maybe some paint and she needs a name! heres the improvements smaller burner and a hasp on the door and bigger vent with damper. soon to have pics of first smoke
I have a drip pan that i made that sits in with a removeable pan works as a smoke diffuser also plus i have a drip pan below the base of the stack that hangs to catch any drip from it just didnt take pics of them yet
looks good what size chimney is that I have one about the same my draft is 3" and i have a hot plate for heat and wanted small draft to keep heat in, do you have draft down bu the burner at all?? i don"t but I think it is doing fine with out. cant wait for picks on first smoke what r u going to smoke first??? let us know
