Don't matter to me as long as you get it posted. Looks awesome. What kind of sausage is it?

I found some Andouille and use it to make dirty rice a couple weeks ago. Excellent!

Rodger.....Looks really good...
I haven't had that in ages...getting me hungry...now I have to go find something for a snack..

Very Nice Cajunsmoker.

I miss the red beans and rice. I grew up in Baton Rouge. My dad makes a mean white beans and rice.

I miss Savoie's sausage also. Their sausage was very tasty.

Hey if you are ever in Baton Rouge, you have got to try some Jerry Lee's boudine. The best boudine ever. I always bring back 5 lbs worth of links when I visit home. Jerry Lee's is a household name in BR and his boudine is present at countless tailgate parties at LSU.
Geaux Tigers!!

Yea I've had Jerry Lee's JP. Good Chit :D

If you can find a Brookshire's store in DFW I bet they will have Savoie's sausage.

red beens and rice, a big staple here from time to time.....we may be up north but do like some of that new orleans stuff too...... I like to spice mine up a tad with the following:

for two 15 ounce cans of red kidney beans I add

1 1/2 teaspoons white pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 TBS (1/2 stick) butter

ummmm ummmm good....... :) (and don't skimp on the smoked sausage!)
