I embedded the video in your post.
We don't allow You Tube links on here.
BTW it is a great video, thanks for posting it.
Is this the best location to put the AMNPS in a MES?
Yes, in an MES Generation #1 that is normally the best place.
In fact the AMNPS was designed to barely fit right there in the MES 30 Gen #1.
Great Video Marc !!
Very well done!!
I should mention that you can get burning pellets jumping from row to row if you fill it too full, even if there aren't any on top of the interior dividers.
I fill mine at least 1/4" to 3/8" from the top to avoid this.
The interior walls were redesigned to their pyramid shape to keep the pellets farther apart between the rows, and if you get to the very top, it is almost like a single wall, like the original AMNS is made. The AMNS is only used for Dust, and at temps below 220°, because of their single interior walls.
Bear - NO NO NO, I did not make the video, no credit to me, I just found it on Youtube and felt it covered comprehensively, very thoroughly, trouble folks have.
I didn't know that, but;
It's still a good video, except for filling it all the way to the top with pellets.
Also: I never Nuked my pellets, but I've heard that you have to do it in shorter lengths of time than the video says, and keep an eye on it, because it can flame up & ruin your Nuke-U-Later (or worse).
Just to make sure credit is given to the OP, the video was actually shot and posted here by another SMF member...Wade posted that thread some time back. The link to the thread is here:
