Hi everyone. Went camping last weekend and cooked up some chicken in the 10 inch Deep Dutch oven. Im calling it rainy day chicken since it rained cats and dogs ( Pic of one of the dogs in third photo). It all worked out in the end so here it is.

I like to brown the potatoes, carrots and onions since it adds a sweetness to the end product.

Chicken and fixins all ready to go in the oven and under the coals.

YIKES, the rain came in hard, I could only find one dry place to cook!!

Pulled the chicken and made some gravy to top it with.

The finished product and dinner was served!!

This is avery tasty recipe the I make at home as well. The chicken is fall apart moist and the flavors all blend very nice. I hope you liked my DO view!!

that looks great! you should have been in Carson City for the Dutch oven competition i hosted. you would have done very well. I ended up making 5 gallons of gumbo myself and it was tasty!

Very nice job on the chicken and potatoes. It all is just making me drool.
