This is new member Ragilmore, 80 years old and grill or smoke 4 to 5 times a week. I live in Coppell, TX (0riginally from Indiana). Equipment  that I use - Napolean Gas Grill, Big Green Egg,  Masterbuilt Smoker, Weber 26 inch Charcoal, Weber 22 inch with Kettle Pizza attachment.

I enjoy baking bread, etc, and I use either Napolean Gas or Big Green Egg for that. We enjoy entertaining quests and sharing items that we cook or bake. Pizza is one of the foods that we have enjoyed showing other's how to make the dough and then bake on any of the equipment that we have. Did have a large wood smoker (did small pigs on it) gave to our son and now I use the Masterbuilt, Usually smoke salmon or chicken in it, Still do brisket and pulled pork on Big Green Egg.

Hey Ragilmore.  Sounds to me like you are going to fit in here real well.  Bet your popular in your neighborhood.

I look forward to hearing about and seeing pictures of some of your projects.

How do you like your 26 inch Weber?  I have an 18 and a 22 inch kettle and have been thinking hard about the 26 inch one.  I've read that some folks think that the legs are a little weak for the weight of the grill.

This looks like a site that I will enjoy and learn at the same time. I like my 26 inch Weber which I use mainly when large groups are coming for a cook out. Have not had any problem with the legs nor any indication of any weakness.

Will have some pictures of my products at a later date.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a warm day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Weather here in North Texas (Coppell) is warm, I know that I will enjoy this site. I have already received input on the next electric smoker. I was looking a Model 30 generation 1 and it was suggested that I consider a model 40. So I am going to consider upgrading to a 40 or stay with the 30 and continue to use my Big Green Egg for some of my smoking.
