I have an andouille recipe from this forum I want to try, the recipe is only for 5 lbs of meat so if I want to make 50 lbs do I multiply all the other ingridients by 10?

Thanks for the welcome, been reading these forums for a while just joined today. The recipe was posted by Big-Guy in a older post I found fiqured I would give it a shot.

I would try 5 lbs. first. Every time I have made sausage for the first time, I change the recipe at least once, sometimes 3 or 4 times until I get it where we like it.

Yea just multiply everything by 10 if you want that big of a batch. But as Craig mentioned you might want to try a smaller batch before you go all out. I'm sure the recipe is good but we all have our personal preferences  so its a good idea to give it a test run first.
