So I got a stuffer for christmas and had a chance to test it out. I was kind of expecting it to go very bad but it was actually a lot easier then I thought it would be. Was the coolest smoking type thing ive done so far I think. Even the wife was impressed.

Question I have is i twisted them into links. For separating them into there own links can i just cut them after they have sat overnight in the fridge or will they open up then?

Yeah 99% of the time they will keep there shape after a good rest in the frig

true collagen will unravel but the meat might hold the shape depending on how it's cooked and the meat mix itself.

I usually tie them with butchers twine .

Same here on the string

If you twisted them at least 3 full turns you will have enough between the brats to cut & still leave a little twist on each one. After a night in the fridge they will stay twisted.
