Hello All,

I recently purchased a quarter beef that came with nice roasts (Prime Rib, Chuck, Sirloin Tip) but being a novice at smoking I was wondering what I should do with them?  Should I smoke them or just cook them in the oven?  Anyone have any ideas.  I have the weights for each in a log if you want more info.

Cheers,

Ivy

All can be smoked or roasted. The Rib and Tip are best cooked Medium or less and sliced. Of course Rib Steaks are an option as well. Chuck needs to be smoked until it is nearly falling apart and pulled. If you search each cut you will find a variety of info on smoker temps and such...JJ
