all i did was rub butter on it and put some of jeffs rub on it and my god it was good and i used a beer can chicken rack and cut tops off of pop cans and filled them with apple juice and it worked pretty good
 
Really nice looking brisket and beer-can chicken! Out of curiosity did you sear the brisket before throwing it on the smoker?

when i did the chicken i found that i had to spin them around becouse they where differnt temps but once i did not that evened out
 
that butter rub just made my heart squeak..but sounds mighty good. and that brisket.that thing looks huge. and good lookin..nice job..
 
ya i was going to use the spray of honey and butter but i was doing it at my cabin and forgot my spray bottle so all i did was rub it with butter and i also found out that it helps to let the birds drie out some before you rub them in butter
