Pictures from last weekend cooked to 180 sliced but didn't get photos of that.
Nice brisket- how was it? Like the bark!
That does look great!
all i did was rub butter on it and put some of jeffs rub on it and my god it was good and i used a beer can chicken rack and cut tops off of pop cans and filled them with apple juice and it worked pretty good
Really nice looking brisket and beer-can chicken! Out of curiosity did you sear the brisket before throwing it on the smoker?
Keep up the good smokes!
no i did not i did not think it was needed
Actually ... there's a great thread on the discussion of searing vs not searing. After reading through that, I'm definitely going to sear my first brisket that's being smoked this wknd.
As with most things, personal preference ...
ill have to go and read that now
when i did the chicken i found that i had to spin them around becouse they where differnt temps but once i did not that evened out
Looks tasty 7outof10! I like the color of your birds too...
that butter rub just made my heart squeak..but sounds mighty good. and that brisket.that thing looks huge. and good lookin..nice job..
ya i was going to use the spray of honey and butter but i was doing it at my cabin and forgot my spray bottle so all i did was rub it with butter and i also found out that it helps to let the birds drie out some before you rub them in butter
Great lookin' food there.
