Hello Everyone Longtime follower 1st time poster. My name is Larry I live in Nebraska Go Huskers! I'm a happily married family man with a passion for grilling & smoking meats. I have a char-griller currently but getting a Oklahoma Joe Highland fairly soon I hope. I will be modifying it thanks to all the forums on how to do it. Ultimately I would like to own a Yoder but right now not an option my wife would kick me out for paying that much & I can't really live in it so I'd better hold off for now lol.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy and rainy day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Welcome to the site Larry.  If you can impress the wife with a few successful smokes, maybe she will alter her thinking on the Yoder.

They are some fine looking smokers.  I've thought long and hard about them but shipping to the east coast has cooled my lust, so far.

Yeah that's part of the problem she says my smoking is great now with my char griller. I keep telling her it could be so much better. I don't even have a fire box. She'll eventually get tired of listening to me.
