Ill be doing pulled pork for my niece band this thursday for a fund raiser. I have never did such a thing. I always smoke my for my family and use a regular store bought sauce.Me and another parent is responsible for pulled pork so to me its sort of a competition. I want to have the most talked about pp. I need a good good sauce recipe that is kid likeable and should I use cole slaw. I think i have the upper hand cause im, a member if this forum. Thanks Guys 
 
This sauce is my Teenage Kids favorite they along with their friends put it on just about any thing coming off the Grill or Smoker...Except STEAKS...Since I, and my Father for that matter, was a kid you could lose a Hand for putting anything but S & P on a Good Steak!...It is a Sweet Kansas City Style sauce...Hope you Like it...JJ

KC Bubba Q Juice

2T Evoo

1/2C Fine Minced Onion

4Ea Cloves Garlic, Minced

2C Ketchup

1/2C Dijon Mustard

1/4C Apple Cider Vinegar

1/2C Molasses

1 to 2C Brn Sugar, taste and see what works for you

1T Your Rub

1T Tomato Paste

1/2tsp Celery Seed

S & P at the end as needed

Saute Onion and Garlic in oil until soft about 5 min.

Add the remaining Ingredient and Simmer over Low heat for 20-30 mins to develope the flavors.

Stir Frequently so it don't Burn!

Puree if you want it smoother.

Makes about 4 Cups

Not in a place to recommend a sauce, but if you are looking for slaw recipe I really love this one and have used it on more than a few occasions.

Corny Coleslaw
6 Servings
5 C Shredded Cabbage
1 1/2 C Whole Kernel Corn   
2 Tbl Spoons Finely Chopped Onions
1/2 C Sour Cream
1/2 C Mayonnaise
2 Tbl Spoons Sugar
1 T Spoon Prepare Mustard
2 Tbl Spoons Lemon Juice(I used apple cider vinegar to taste
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 C chopped Salted Peanuts
combine all the ingredients except cabbage corn and onion in a small bowl and mix then pour over the other ingredients. Chill covered in the refrigerator for at least an hour add peanuts just before serving.
