My buddy and I were considering coming up with a recipe for Pulled Pork Cakes similar to Crab Cakes. Obviously, some modifications would have to be made (BBQ sauce for worcestershire, for instance) but it sounds intriguing.

Anyone ever try anything like this or know of a recipe (a cursory site and google search came up dry)?

Find a crab cake recipe and substitute pork for crab, you may have to chop the pork and adjust the seasoning  to make it work.

I know this is an old thread but,

I saw a show on the cooking channel about pulled pork cakes today and they pulled the smoked port and mixed with cream cheese, onions, peppers, and garlic.  Then they rolled it in flour and dipped in milk and rolled in bread crumbs, followed by the fryer.  I am thinking of trying it so if you do, let me know how it goes.

Sounds like a great idea!
 It sure does!

I hope someone will give it a try before I do
