hi. i have been making a little jerky for a while and am thinking about selling it to earn a little money. just wondering if it can sit on the shelf unrefridgerated once packaged and for how long. it never lasts long enough to find out in my home so any advice will be apreciated. will be heat sealed in food grade plastic bags.

Dave, morning and welcome to the forum.....   About storing jerky....  You have to speak with government folks for their regulations, additives etc...   Same with the business....  and Lawyers...

Please take a moment and stop into " /Roll Call/   " and introduce yourself and get a proper welcome from our members.... Also, if you would note your location in your profile, it will help in the future when answering questions about smokin'...   elevation, humidity etc....   We're glad you stopped in and joined our group...    Enjoy the long smokey ride....     Dave
