portuguese bean soup - something to do with the leftover smoked ham and bone....

    This sounds tasty, after smoked foods soup is my favorite thing to eat and when you can combine those two things life just seems to be going alright [​IMG]

    Thanks for posting, gives me an excuse to go get a ham and smoke it up!

    thanks for the kind words, folks - if anyone tries this, i'd like to hear what you think of it. it's become a favorite in our house and is perfect on a cold, winter day.
