My wife thought she was buying a beef brisket but ended up bringing home a pork spare rib bone off brisket.  I have never heard of this cut and I'm not sure what to do with it.  I assume it's the piece of meat that is removed from either below or on top of the ribs on the hog and therefore will be relatively tough.  Any suggestions on what do with it would be greatly appreciated.

Not positive but I think you have what they call rib tips. Cook them like ribs chop/cut them up and enjoy watch out some will most likely have bones if you haven't noticed.
