Decided to create an account instead of just lurking, and now that I posted my introduction its time to get to it! Seemed like a good day for pulled pork, so I thought I would try posting it up as I go. Sorry if this post is crap, never done this before... Here goes! Butt, all trimmed up. Mustard For the rub, I mix brown sugar, onion flakes, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a little mesquite. Injection. I peel 2 apples, Fiji's or honey crisps are my favorites. Then I add honey and fresh garlic, and blend the bejeezus out of it to make it as liquid as I can. Then, onto the smoker at 220, and I spray with apple juice every 45 minutes. Also making twice baked potatoes, and I will be trying a new recipe for squash to go with it. Stay tuned!
