Pork Butt / Shoulder Gland

    I picked up 6 butts yesterday.... Pulled pork, BBB, Andouille and breakfast sausage are on the menu.... 

    First comes the prep.... I thought I would resurrect Pops picture on where the "gland" is located, in the butt, for folks to see again and possibly for the first time.... 

    Pops has so much info to pass on to us "New Bees"...  Thanks Pops, for making me smarter...  Dave

    Always glad to help!  Here's the original thread in its entirety and answers a few more questions; these glands can be very small or sometimes quite large.  I know I've captured it on other sausage threads too; if I can't find it I'll post some new pics when I do more sausages.
