Has anyone used a pitmaster IQ110 with a built mini wsm? I know the mini wsm holds temps well on its own but it would be nice to set it and forget it. Thoughts?

YES SIR! I just used again 2 days ago for some beef ribs... Low and slow 225

Make sure to use the#1 setting so it doesn't blow too hard. I won't use it for high temp cooks but low and slow all day long. I can post a pic of my mini IQ setup if you'd like

That would be great. I just ordered one. I will be using mine on a Smokey Joe silver. Do you use the minion method when starting coals? What is the longest you have let it go before checking it and how well did it hold the temps correct?

I'm sure I will have some more follow up questions.

I've been curious about this as well. In my case I'd be more interested in the party q for camping and using in places with no electricity. FWIsmoker, why not use it on high heat cooks?

Here's my partyq set up.

To clarify both are fine for high heat cooks as well but I make an exception for whole birds. When doing whole birds on the mini I find it easier to go manual because of the evaporative cooling effect of doing birds.

I'll won't hesitate doing any other pieces of meat with either the IQ or partyq
