Hi SMF!

I have to start by thanking everyone for their contributions to the site.  I decided I was going to buy myself a smoker for my 30th birthday, and started looking a few weeks ago.  With the advice from this forum, I decided to go with a Masterbilt Pro 30" Dual Fuel propane/charcoal smoker!   Picked it up earlier this week and I am assembling it, and seasoning it today! I went with the dual fuel to allow me the convenience of the propane and flexibility to use coal if I get the desire to.

I have been hot grilling for years, somewhat specializing in Steak, but this is my first foray into low and slow, and I couldnt be more excited!

I am trying out some Ribs tomorrow, and whole Chickens on Sunday.  I have Jeff's cookbook, and will be starting with recipes from there.

Can't wait to post some pictures of my first meats!

Stay smokey.
