Whats up to everyone on this great site! My name is Linton and I live in Georgia but am originally from Louisiana,8 yrs US Army. Ive been checkin y'all out for a couple of days, and Im sure someone can help me obtain my goal of becoming great on the pit. Right now Im just moving into my first house coming from an apartment so all I have right now is an OLD cheapo square fold up grill, and a brinkmann electric smoker. I am trying to make a move on the chargriller duo w/ a side smoker box. My wife made me promise not to buy it on my own as she wants to get it for me as a gift. My palms are sweating!

Thanks for listening people!

Some say Im hot! better yet Im blazin'
What else would you expect, Im a ragin' Cajun!

Welcome. Ya better inform the wife that you need that gift early, and you will reward her with some great Q. Welcome aboard ( oh thats Navy) . Glad to have you...........

Welcome, and what everone else said. We're to help. Just ask away!

Welcome to the board. I would suggest getting something heavy like a Brinkmann Cimarron. It will survive multiple PCS's. They cost about $750 depending where you get it. Another option would be to get the lightweight cousin, the SNP. They cost about $130-140. They will not survive many PCS's but at the cost, you can sell it and buy a new one at the next station.
