This thread should have come with the warning "The Photos In This Post May Cause Severe Hunger Pangs!"

Great post Disco. I liked the presentation from start to finish. Definitely deserves points.
Thanks, GM. I am blushing.

You nailed that one Nice

Looks like the folks from Bal'mer could learn a thing or two from you Disco! Just don't start addressing everyone as "Hon".
Finding a really good pit beef sandwich is slightly more difficult than getting a clear photo of Chessie. (Mythical sea monster of the Chesapeake)
Most, even from places that supposedly specialize in pit beef, are kinda dry and chewy with little smoke flavor. Great job and the sauce, whatever it's called, looks delicious.

Har, Thanks, MD!. I will not challenge the Baltimore scene for pit beef, that is why I made it my way. However, I challenge anyone to make a better sandwich, particularly if they make one for me!

Hon? I like it but She Who Must Be Obeyed has forbidden me calling her Hon as soon as I told her about it. Guess, I have to come up with a Kootenay term. Sport?

You are very welcome Disco! Thank you for sharing that awesome Q with all of us

Looks great Disco, will have to give this a try.

How is the whiskey steak seasoning? I've been meaning to try some of the Cabelas seasonings and rubs, but can't make up my mind when I get there.

Thanks, Duke. The seasoning has a nice flavour and I like it. I usually don't by premixed seasonings but my brother and niece gave some Cabela's seasonings and they are all quite good.

I wouldn't mind except you are in Portland. A few years back, my buddy and I went to Portland. It is a beautiful city but we did run into a problem. There were all these great microbreweries and you don't want to insult one by not trying their product. We barely made it back to your room!

Outstanding as always, Disco. You're making me hungry.

Thanks, Chew! To quote something said to me when I started this forum, if you are hungry, start smoking.

Ok, the more I check this thread, the more I want to try it.

Now it's what's for dinner tomorrow.
I suspect you won't be sorry, Duke.
