I love canned foods - used to help my mom while growing up.  I thought it was a chore, but I sure appreciate the work she did now!  Those look great :)

Thanks I got it from my mom also,I am canning everything possible this year trying to stay away from store bought as much as possible.

That looks awesome I'm looking forward to being able to have a garden large enough to can most of my own stuff

Those pickles look so good, thanks for sharing the pics. Now.... somebody get me a sammie.

Now those are awesome and the wife wants me to make some now too. Do you have a recipe for the dills and the sweet pickles too. I like the dill she likes the bread n butter.

Thanks every one,The last 3 years I have been using Mrs.Wages Quick Process Pickle mixes,,They are a lot easier than most other recipes and I think they taste alot better. This year they started carrying Mrs.Wages at our local grocery store before that I order them online.

My secret ingredient to make sure they are crisp is add a little calcium chloride to the jars when canning, they are always crisp.I have bought CC online from bulkfoods.com but just found some this week at Lowes, its called Ball Pickle Crisp Granules.
