This is the best Pellet deal that I have found.

CookinPellets are good, but respectfully 83 cents per pound is hardly what I'd call a "deal".  

Additional note for my post above: Anyone with a Discover credit card can go through the Discover Deals online portal via discover.com and get 10% cash back for Sears orders, which should net out the above PitBoss pellets (still on sale) to just under 45 cents per pound.  That is what I call a "deal"...  :)

When you are buying 2 bags and don't have a local source to go pick up a bag...it's all relative isn't it

Do you know of a better "deal"

Sure thing: Pit Boss Comp Blend Sears (as I mentioned above) at $21.66 per 40lb bag with free ship to store.  54 cents a pound plus tax (which Amazon charges here).  I'm guessing there are Sears stores in Chicago, yes?  Link (again): http://www.sears.com/pit-boss-pellets-40lb-competition-blend/p-07145716000P

There's no reason you can't just buy one bag at that price.

Now if you go to three bags or otherwise get your order above $50 use the $5 off $50 coupon.

Also Academy Sports, which I don't think is up there, carries a decent pellet B&B at $12 per 20lb bag retail, so 60 cents per pound.

Heck even my local GMG dealer sells GMG brand pellets at $23 per 28 lb bag with "get the seventh bag free" punchcards and many GMG dealers sell pellets even cheaper.  So 82 cents per pound for single bags, but if you factor in the seventh bag it works out to 70 cents per pound.

As you have noted, i have plenty of options for pellets including going to Cookin Pellets warehouse.  

The point of this thread, as the thread title notates - "Pellets in New Mexico" (not Chicago) - is to help  bucsrno1  find pellets in his area.  So if you want to address his specific area - please do.
