We have a 16 x 16 covered patio that has an 32 x 16 above ground pool behind it surrounded by a huge deck. The patio has a poured slab and 5 roof supports resting on the slab. The wife and I have talked about making a grilling station on the covered patio. I will post a picture of the patio and pool when she gets home. She has the camera with her to get some shots of a birthday party. Anyway, we were looking at some designs earlier and we kinda like this one.

There will be a weber grill, a charbroiler side by side barrel smoker and a home made vertical smoker. I'm not sure if the slab has a footer since it is supporting the roof but I can dig down to find out. If it doesn't have one what are the chance it can support the weight of the build without busting the slab.
I'm sure there are a few hundred on here that has something similar so any advise would be much appreciated.
