Thank you everyone! Yeah this kid is on sausage fire! He wants to make salami, and brats. I think it's best that we hold off till next weekend! Gotta give the wife a break from all the sausage stuffing! Anyways here's the cut up sticks. We will pack these and see how long the don't last!

Thanks everyone! My hunting buddy has 40# of ground elk that he said we can use for making some sticks so hopefully that will happen soon. This week I am going to do a batch of fresh chicken brats, more on that to come!

Thank you! Yours look great too! As for the bike rack sausage hanging I got a bit ahead of myself and forgot that I needed somewhere to hang and dry the sticks! Have that sorted out now!!!

I bought the LEM 5#. For me it will be plenty big enough. I may make up to 15# at a time for the most part so I can refill a couple times if I need to. Most of what I'll do will be 5# batches.

We have his daughter to thank for the elk. 19 and she took this one down first shot. Actually could drive right to it too! She's been super lucky not only getting tags, but with getting animals too!
