    So since I made the first attempt at Pastrami I've been hooked ever since, not to mention that my very Cuban father somehow loved this meat and now eats it as breakfast every day, and for this man to like anything besides Cuban food is a miracle lol.

    Could you please share your recipe? Time? Temp? Type of wood? Type of smoker?

    My next smoke will probably be a pastrami...

    Sure thing!

    MES 30 @ 225 until IT reaches 203, these 4 pieces took 4 hrs, smoked it with cherry, recipe is as follows;

    4 tablespoons fresh coarsely ground black pepper
    2 tablespoons coriander powder
    1 teaspoon mustard powder
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    1 tablespoon paprika
    2 teaspoons garlic powder
    2 teaspoons onion powder

    Got recipe from amazingribs. The pastrami comes out fantastic!!!
