So i know a firebox being oversized is better than under sized, my calculations so far are:

Tank size round 30" diameter X 75" length

Fire Box 30" W X 20" H X 30" L being 101.9% Size differential.

Is this enough oversize or should i go bigger?

According to my calls, your FB is .33975 of your CC which is just over 1/3. This is what most of the formulas call for. I would think that you are right on.

I am not a builder. You may want to check with some of them.

Your fine.   I usually make the firebox so I get the best utilization of the 1/4" plate I am using.      A few % either way doesn't matter.     The height you mount it at would have more effect.
