I know, dumb time to ask----After I ordered it, but I just ordered a Weber Q 320 LP Gas Grill.

Here it is:

http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs...nktype=product&storeId=10051&ddkey=THDSiteMap

LOL---I went out to clean my 8 year old "Member's Mark" up, and clean the crap out of the little holes in the 3 burners (like I did two years ago), and I saw the burners were falling apart, so I took one out to go find new burners. Then I saw the channel & supports that hold the burners in place were also falling apart. The whole guts to it was falling apart, yet the outside (all stainless) is almost like new.

Te heck with it---Time for a newbie!

This thing I ordered was:

Grill--------$359 minus 10% Veteran discount-----------------$323.10

Cover-----$19.99 minus Vet discount-----------------------------$17.99

PA. TAX-----------------------------------------------------------------$20.46

Free Shipping

Total delivered--------------$361.55

Mama Bear didn't even flinch about that amount!  I was shocked!

My In Laws just got that grill. They love it. I got to use it last weekend when we visited them while camping. They love it because they can take it camping and just use the little fuel bottles or they can hook up to the full propane bottle.

I think it was a nice unit. Even heat. I cooked a whole chicken pieced up  and a few steaks on it at the same time. Came out great.

Thanks guys,

I had already ordered it, but you guys eased my mind that I didn't screw up.

When I realized I was gas grill-less, I was panicking----

After I ordered it I thought----Did my brain order it, or did my belly order it????

You know how it is!

When I was a young stud, another part of me did my thinking, instead of my brain.

Now that I'm an old Bruin, sometimes my belly does the thinkin'.

Thanks Again,

Bear

On another BBQ/Grilling forum there was a discussion or two regarding the differences between Weber grills sold at DIY stores and BBQ stores.  You might want to go to a BBQ store and check out their version of the same Grill.

I did. The only difference I found was the price. BBQ stores ask a higher price for the same grill. They have a few models of the "Q". I ordered the Q 320. It seems like a 320 is a 320. It is the only one that comes already set up to use a 20 pounder. It has the light in the handle & the two burner, larger grill with over 21,000 BTUs. It also comes with a stronger cart---not a fold up. You could still remove the unit from the cart to transport, but I doubt I'll ever do that anyway.

I love new toys,

Bear

I own a weber gas grill, and love it.  I have always recommended weber gas grills.  My brother-in-law / sister bought 3 cheap grills and then finally broke down and purchased a top of the line Weber summit grill and love it.  That being said Weber has now gone the way of most grill mfg and is having grills made in China, who cares the MES is made in China too and we love it.  BUT "the bad", I think there will be more issues with quality control than previously, "the good" Weber is still the Weber company and stand behind their products with excellent customer service.  Thus any problems can easily be solved by a quick call to Weber.
