Sorry - just realized that I forgot to "sign in" - I have been lurking and posting for a while now but noticed I never went to role call to say Hey!

I have a GOSM (Kemore version) - homemade pig roaster - grill (gasser) - and a turkey fryer - also have a UDS in the works but in early stages.

Thinking of getting a BGE or a WSM but will wait until the off season comes - i work at a golf course and don't have the time to tend stuff during spring - summer and early fall.

This is a great site and I have already gotten alot of info from you all.

Thanks!

Well thanks for doing the roll call thing and I hope you continue to enjoy the site like the rest of us do. Have fun and happy smoking

Thanks for the Intro... I live next to a nice golf course and ahev never been on it, I ahve no clue how to play..I guess I need to get out there 1 day...Welcome aboard

2nd if you have little time to tend your smoking adventures maybe you should look into getting a Traeger....Here's the link....

We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. It's also free and it will give you the basics of smoking. So after all of that you just need to go grab something to smoke and if you have any question just post them here and we will answer it quickly so you don't have any mishaps with your smoke.
Welcome To Your New Addiction

Thanks! Been looking at the Traegers which I think is the best of both worlds - Flavor of a charcoal/stick burner with the somewhat set-it-and-forget-it ease I like.

Correct me if I'm wrong Sandy, but if I kill all the golfers, they're gonna lock me up and throw away the key!

Watch Caddyshack at least once a month - get together with the Superintendent, the club pro and smoke some food, drink some beer and watch the movie.

I'm the GM of the course and so after 10 hours or so I'm a bit burnt out and just want to go home - so I don't play as much as I used to or should! Handicap right now is 6 ( but I know the course pretty well
