    Hello all, I am glad I found you guys. It will be nice to have like minded folks to talk with. I have been a die hard grilled for years and have gotten bored. Now I am full bore into butchering my own beef and pork,making sausage, and smoking almost anything that will fit in the smoker.
    this is the smoker I have now. Working on bulging something a bit bigger this spring.

    If you are going to be doing a lot of cured  sausage you may want to look at building a small ( or large ) smoke house.

    Welcome to the board! You'll have fun here. I started with grilling and explored into smoking, and there's a big overlap between the two.
