Hello Everybody.

My name is Steve.  I live in the foothills of South Carolina.  My job retired me, so I have some time on my hands, when I'm not working on my 30 year old "Honey Do" list.  My new Masterbuilt double door gas smoker is still in the box in the van.  I'm waiting for it to stop raining so I can put it together.  I had what ya'll call an UDS many years ago.  I used hickory and oak logs and over smoked alot of meat.  Hard to regulate temp.  I grew up eating Lexington BBQ, so I know how to eat pig.  I bought this new smoker hoping it will be easier to use.  When you get old you look for easier ways to do everything.  I look forward to talking to you guys and learning how to use this new smoker.
