Just got my A-Maze-N pellet smoker in the mail a couple days ago and decided to fire it up today.
I have a 30" MES that doesn't have the side chip loader. Basically all i have is the vent in the back for airflow and the little bit that sneaks out the door on the sides.
I tried compacting the pellets and leaving them lit for 10 mins as directed but after about 15 mins, they start to dwindle down to producing very little smoke. Is this a sign that there's not enough airflow in the smoker?
I've read a lot of problems with the MES but most of the posts are owners of the model with the side chip loader.
