Broken Arrow, OK
My name is John and I live in Broken Arrow, OK.  I have been grilling all of my adult life and LOVE it!  I got a Master Forge vertical smoker for my most recent birthday and have smoked 5-6 times....Thankfully it is getting better each time!  I look forward to any tips/tactics that I can gather on here to improve my skill as a smoker!

Welcome, glad ya joined us ! Up in the search bar type in Master Forge and there's a lot of threads on them units to help ya out or ya can start your own thread if ya have a question !

This is the absolute best site for learning how to smoke meat.  For that matter, you've stumbled upon what is perhaps the greatest database of meat cooking knowledge on the inter-web.  I was a pretty good smoker before joining, but with the stuff I've learned just by reading posts from some of the masters on here, my wife refuses to go out to eat bbq.  She won't touch smoked meat unless I've done it.  THAT is a compliment I won't ever be able to top.  And I really owe quite a bit of that to this site.

Hello John!  From one Oklahoman to another, welcome to the group!  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.

Glad to have you join in. I've been smoking meats for a while and just found out about this site some time back and have already found it helpful. I hope so of the inputs I have given have also helped someone. Keep smoking LOW AND SLOW.
