Just got an Oklahoma Joes Longhorn to replace my old broken down indirect and this is my first smoke on it. Had some friends over, watched some baseball and had some BBQ. I am new here and the way I understand it is that without Qview, it didn't happen :) Not bad for a first smoke on a new Q..... Love the Longhorn!

Put the BBQ together and seasoned it, heavy bugger...

Made my sauce and rub...

Got the brisket ready with some of my homemade rub....

Got the ribs rubbed and sealed up for the night....

The NEXT DAY.......

I got the fire going....

Broke out the brisket...

Got the brisket on the grill......

Set the temp and waited.......

Once at 165F....

Now I wrap it and leave it until 190F and on go the ribs....

Time for some marinated wings.....

and then a few hours later.......

Seems to work......

Peace!

Looks awfully tasty. I missed my invitation for the trip down I-5 from Mill Creek. Enjoy that new cooker.
