4 pounder, already injected it yesterday and rubbed it also, going to smoke it on pecan and apple maybe a little hickory in there also will pu pics when done

I would recommend tossing in some hickory, pecan and apple are both pretty light woods and a brisket is something that can stand up to and benefits from some good heavy smoke flavor like hickory or mesquite.

i agree w/ FIU......brisket can handle a more robust smoke.
