My cooker probe pooped out on me.  I ordered a replacement, but it might not be here in time for a cook tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure that there is no problem, but are there any issues with clipping my food probe to the grate to monitor the cooker?  I'm doing ribs, so I won't need to monitor food.

Thanks in advance.
