You have a pretty Butt ! Nice pull, and Bark looks great .

I know I'm late , but a slow cooker is great for reheating Butt . Add some of the drippings or other liquid , and heat low for 2hrs. for hot Butt.

Have fun and . . .

I like simmering in the vacuum sealer bags, not all bags are good for reheating that way as far as I know at least so make sure to look into that if you go that route. Pulled pork warms up well covered in the oven as well with the drippings as mentioned previously you can also search finishing sauce there are some great ones and they will give you layers of flavor and added moisture.

JB, what did that butt weigh to begin with??

I am a relative newb here.

Old School has been here forever and I dearly respect him.

B-One has been around the block, and has helped me out many times!!

However, guys, correct me if I am wrong.

In my honest, constructive critisism, the bark in the first pic looks like too much...? Could be the pic.

Secondly, pp shouldnt have to be chopped. It should basically fall appart.

JB, please dont take this the wrong way. I am just trying to give some honest feedback on what I see.

Did the pork fall apart and you prefer chopped?

It is very hard to tell all of the details from pics, but, it looks to me like it could have used a wrap and mabey pulled off the heat a bit earlier??

I have had some butts spit the bone at 196.....?/?

In no way am I trying to be negative on your smoke!!

I would just like to give an honest opinion.

Thanks for sharing JB!!
