  1. Well I just started the 2 hours in foil part of the 2-2-1. They looked a little dry after the first 2 hours but no bad. I can't get the temp below about 240 in the pit. It's a Masterbuilt 20050611 upright gasser. It's about 65 outside today so I thought it would go lower but I guess I'll just shorten my cooking time. Question, do they moisten up in the foil?

    Welcome to the SMF Family...If you put some Apple Juice or other combination of liquid in the Foil they will moisten up...JJ

    May have to get a needle valve regulator for that gasser

    to get optimum control

    You will need the 1 part of the 2-2-1 to dry and firm them up.

  9. Done, came out just a little dry, but overall good flavor and for the most part decently tender. Guess I'll just have to do another batch to start tweking.

    Yep they sure will moisten up in the foil as long as ya put some liquid in there with the ribs.
