I just recently bought a Backwoods Chubby.  WOW, not a cheap smoker, but they tell me it's a small competition smoker.  We can't start using it until we sell a house and get settled in the new one.  We love great smoked meats, and will have fun doing our own.  We are between Lincolnton NC and Gastonia NC, just a stones throw west of Charlotte.  We already have a recipe for smoked turkey, and can not wait to try it!!!

I'm a Pilot by profession, but a Biker and a BBQ fan by heart.  What goes better together than Bikes BBQ Beer and Babes!?

Nice smoker!  Not sure why you can't start using it now. What you smoke on it will attract all the help you need for the move!

Pilot, Harley, BBQ, Beer, Babes.  "Is this heaven?"  "No, it's Harleyman1956's house!"

I like your reply.  Thank you.  We are not using it yet because splitting time between the two houses it enough for now.  Can't wait to enjoy the fruits of the smoker!!!

My Son and I may try it out before the Woman and I do.  I am not sure I can wait for the sale of our other house before I use it!!!  I am thinking a butt or two for the first smoke.  Maybe ribs!

  7. Welcome to the forum, Nice smoker, let us know about the ribs and or pork butt
