I am new to the forum, but not to smoking. Have 2 smokers, brinkman charcoal and small sportsman electric. I have smoked for a lot of years. Done fish, chicken, lots of baby backs, and now have ventured into sausage which is how I found this forum. Have also made lots of different jerkys and ground venison concoctions. Even made a crude fire-pit smoker while camping with some friends to smoke some fresh caught suckers. We brined them overnight in salt and dark beer then smoked on our crude campfire smoker and finished with a brown sugar rub. Some of the best smoked fish I have done. This looks like a great place for ideas and expert knowledge for my future smoking. Wish I would have found it 1 day sooner, made my first attempt at Landjaeger last night and will smoke this weekend. Hope it turns out.

How to post Qview to Forum:

When you uploading to Photobucket I always use the Large IMG setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...

Everyone here enjoys seeing the Qview so be sure to post plenty of pics...

Large ones that us old people with bad eyes can see.
