Hi, my name is Tim, and I'm new to smoking. What got me hooked is when I helped a friend smoke baby back ribs for Mother's Day. I finished building a new Outlaw Char-Griller Thursday and sealed most attachments. My brother challenged me to doing 2 whole chickens and stuffed pork chops for my first smoke! Haha. Challenge accepted. I was inspired to get the outlaw by a regular poster on here, 5o'clocksomewhere. Im warming my smoker now, want me to add to this thread with pics as i go, or create a new post elsewhere? Beautiful weather in Boise, ID today, and it's going to be a glorious day!

Not pork chops, pork loin. Yesterday I made a rub for the pork and chicken. Here is my 10lb pork loin sliced, stuffed with smoked sausage and rubbed down.

Lookin good Tim, that's gonna be tasty ! Ya may wanna start a thread in the pork section as you'll get more views.... Roll call is just kinda the welcoming wagon so to speak !

One more thing, send some of that Boise weather over this way...It's windy & cloudy here today!

Will move it, thanks bud! It was supposed to rain here, but I got lucky :)

Haha, no prob... Enjoy the nice weather & lookin forward to seeing your smoke ! Supposed to have been ok here too but I guess ya just gotta roll with it !

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.
