Good day all,

I just got my first smoker a Landmann Charcoal Barrel Grill with Offset Smoker (yes I've already read some people's opinions on offset smokers, but thinks it will fit my needs pretty well) and joined to help me get the most out of my smoker.

I smoked ribs on Saturday and a chicken Sunday with pretty good results, but still have a long way to go.

I've read quite a bit here and it has already helped me.

I live in the small town of Moyock, NC have a wife, 2 kids, 2 dogs and a cat - All of whom will benefit from my improving smoking abilities.

Welcome to the site!  I don't think offsets are discriminated on the site.  Glad you joined us.

Welcome! I agree with Mike, I've never read a bad thing about offsets. Maybe quality of one type or another or mods to help get more out of the rig. I love my horizontal offset! Glad to have you! Have fun!

Welcome from SC. I hope you enjoy this great site. There lots of really good folks here who are always ready to share their ideas, recipes and tips. All you have to do is ask and keep reading.

Good luck and good smokin', Joe

Glad to have you with us.

There's plenty of guys on here with offsets.
