Hi folks. My brother introduced me to this form, which will be a year in October I think. I've been lurking and doing a lot of reading and testing out some recipes. He's a BBQ judge. I really gotta get to one of those classes...

Started out with a couple round red electric smokers. Made decent chicken but the wife always hated my ribs. I didn't know about thin blue smoke...

I apparently knew about brimstone.

Been using a rectangular propane smoker for about the last 5 years. I never did any modifications to seal it up and if I tried now, I'd probably screw the whole thing up. Makes decent pulled pork, and chicken. Good wings too.

I just had my first go at pork ribs with the 3-2-1 and tried out a rub I found on the site here. Came out very good but I should have watched my times better..

My next project I think is going to be a Vision grill from Costco and then maybe one of those Smoke Hollow 4in1 grills. Unless that WIDE smoker goes on sale again at Bass Pro.... It never ends does it?...

Take it easy
