Up doing a brisket. Figured I should go ahead and introduce myself to everyone.
Been reading the forums for a while. Have gotten a lot of good info. Just turned my browning offset into a reverse flow. It works like a champ now. Also switched to sticks from charcoal. I'm always trying to find ways to improve my cook but stay simple.

Welcome to SMF!

Nice job with the mods to your smoker!

Let us know how the brisket turns out.

Brisket turned out good. Could've used a bit more salt and pepper but my family doesn't like as much pepper as I do so I gotta please them first

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a sunny warm day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
