Thinking of either tri tip or chuck roast. Want to iron out the details earlier this time than last time.  Is 135 a good temp for both? Is one a better choice than the other? Any tips, advice, recommendations?

Thanks!!!

I smoked my 1st Tri Tip last night in the rain got it to 133 and gave up trying to keep my temp pulled it and wrapped , let it set for 30 min. Turned out very moist. I have done a Chuck before but it was a disaster.

I pull Tri tip at 120 then sear 1-2 min per side. A chuckie would be best suited for pulling in my book around 200 IT.

Gotcha, thanks!
