Hello from TX. So I'm new here, although I've looked at the site many times, I smoked a couple things on my regular grill and oven a few weeks ago, with not great results. I got my Smoker last week in part due to great reviews on here. I am not so patient or organized and I can be forgetful - but i do get very hungry. So I felt like a digital electric smoker would suit me. Ha ha, ANd....I just got a 40" Masterbuilt Smokehouse. I've only used it 2 times so far but am very impressed. Was so excited on the first day that I smoked : Turkey legs & Breast - Lamb Breast - Bacon - Baby Back ribs - And Cornish hens. By far the Turkey was the most amazing. ( Mostly because I brined it & I like turkey the best I think. ) But only 1 day latter and all that meat has disappeared. It was all good, but not all great. Here's my first smoke - only 5 minutes into it. Right before I added the woodchips. Learning the art of --- low and slow.
