Hey guys,
New member here from Colorado. Just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who has answered other newbies' questions. I was able to get a ton of information and answers to questions I didn't even know I needed to ask. Thanks to you all, my first smoke was a success!
I received an MES 30 for Father's Day and finally fired it up today. I smoked a rack of spare ribs using the 3-2-1 method and a rub recipe from the master built website. I used mesquite chips and seemed to need more chips every 30 minutes or so. Is that pretty normal for the MES 30?
Anyways, I wound up with some pretty darn good and very tender ribs thanks to you all. Looking forward to learning a ton here and applying it to my next smoke.
