My name is Forrest. I am new to smoking. I bought a Brinkman Trailmaster off-set smoker. I live in Southeast Texas. I plan on smoking some meat on Tuesday. Wish me luck!

Welcome aboard from another newbie. I'm in the process of putting my Trailmaster together as we speak! I'm making sure I've got it all sealed and plan some mods as I put it together. This forum has been great for finding mods for these units.
Is youres still "stock" and if so how's it working for you? I'm just curious to see what another new user thinks of it.
Be careful with your wallet now, it's easy to spend lots of money on this hobby!

I have the high temp gasket on the smoke box and I have the tuning plates with the graduated holes in them. I will let you know how it works on Tuesday. Thanks.
