Hi y'all, new to the forum and fairly new to the fabulous smoking/grilling world. I'm a fireman/paramedic here in upstate New York and got into pig roasts last year. Well to my surprise it came out great and I enjoyed doing it since then I've gone grill crazy trying new things good or bad I'm having fun. I'm in the progress of building a reverse flow smoker and recently bought a brinkmann smoker/grill to mess around with. Can't wait to learn and share lots.

Hey BBQ, hello and welcome from East Texas, I have an RF and love it, Have it going right now. Be waiting to see your build.

Hi BBQ-Lt from Northern Illinois and welcome to the group I'm somewhat new here myself , but not to smoking. I'm also building a reverse offset smoker and was a firefighter/EMT for ten years. Wish I would have found this group earlier everyone here is very helpful and a great group. Can't wait to see pics of our smoker and hope to have pics of mine on here soon. Keep smoke LOW AND SLOW.
